I had an interesting conversation today with my lecturer Gerry McDaniel. I discovered that audits are actually very valuable in the business scene and can be implemented usefully in many situations. He made mention of those persons coming to get a grade and maintain a GPA. I smiled with him! But can I tell you a secret? Up till now, that was still me, deeeep down inside! I was riding along the GPA train.
But a lot has been going on with me educationally. Paying serious attention to entrepreneurial studies, and realizing that this is the real world and after a couple of months, I will be expected to be taking over my life (and not my parents), have motivated me to find value in ALL that I do. There is so much to learn and so many fundamental principles that I can take away from my studies. I am going full speed ahead into this audit and into this course. In line with my multimedia skills, this is a fine skill to possess and also a rare combbination.

First Post
I am sooo late! This is my first post for my personal course blog for Organizational Communication. What to expect? Well what do I expect from this course?
At the end of the day I want to know that my skills as a graphic designer can be complemented by my skills as a communications consultant. I will be leaving the University in a couple of months and being apart of the CARIMAC (Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication) alumni, I must know how to communicate very well.
This will also help me and motivate me to keep up to date with my readings in class! God knows I need help with that.
Join me on my journey to becoming an effective communicator in the business world and to give appropriate advice as a communications consultant. All things are possible if we believe in the Saviour, most def!
